Boat Clubs are designed for folks who want to access a versatile fleet of boats on a regular basis, at an affordable cost of entry. While clubs, in general, may differ in their membership structure, Freedom Boat Clubs all operate with a one-time entry fee and monthly dues. FBC members have unlimited access to the club fleet, but do not own them and never incur any service or storage fees. Reservations are made through a proprietary online system. A boat club makes its fleet available to its membership and its management handles all aspects of service and maintenance.
Freedom Boat Club has 400+ locations worldwide. Members who join Freedom Boat Club on a year-round basis enjoy reciprocal access and can boat anywhere Freedom Boat Clubs are located. Also, Freedom Boat Club provides free on-water training for every new member, so you know the local waterways and how to properly operate our boats!
One of the best aspects of private boat club membership in Freedom Boat Club are the fun membership socials! This can include everything from dock parties to dinners, party boat cruises aboard local charters, local parades, and more! Through these regularly scheduled activities, lifelong friendships are forged among boaters who share the same passion and waterborne DNA!

I did a reciprocal from Lake Oconee last week and had a great time. I just wanted to email you and thank you for the time you spent with us and the kindness you showed. Customer service is a lost art so when I see it I like to make sure I let folks know. Have a great 4th and I am sure we will be up again soon. - Ed Shaddix (July 2019)
FBC brings the outstanding recreational hobby of boating to the average person. The boats, currently four, are clean, newer and in great condition. And they are fairly expensive as well, more than I could afford to buy AND maintain. And then there is Vince, the dock master. He brings concierge to boating. He meets you, reviews key boating info (temps, wind, etc.) and goes through the comprehensive checklist with you before you cast off. The checklist makes you locate where all safety devices are located (life vests, flares, anchor, fire extinguisher, etc.). I believe I can locate anything I need without thinking about it, key when there is an emergency. I wonder how many boat owners are as familiar with or even have all of this equipment. Vince will also talk you through departure and return, giving you plenty of instruction on how to move away and return to the dock. If you have any concerns or question, Vince always takes the time to answer then while not making me think I am totally clueless. There is an initiation fee, and monthly dues. But, there is also a cost to buy, insure, maintain and dock a boat. We jump online, make our reservation, get to the dock at the appointed time and go boating. When we return, we pay for the gas used, and leave. There are no other costs. Maintenance, repairs, dock fees, insurance and depreciation (a big one) are all covered in the initiation and monthly fee. All in all, it is worth a look by anyone who is considering a boat purchase. Thanks, Bryan for signing us up, and thank you, Vince, for taking care of us on every trip
Becoming a member of The Freedom Boat Club over 18 months ago is the best decision I have made in a very long time. To date, every promise made in the contract has surpassed my expectations. Each time I want to take out a boat, I simply go on my computer, or even an app on my phone, to make a reservation; it’s as simple as that. When I get ready to leave for the marina, all I have to do is mention the dockmaster, Vince, by name, and my dog, Jackson, starts to get excited knowing we’re going to have a wonderful time on the lake. My girlfriend, dog and I are met at my car in the parking lot, with a friendly smile and escorted to our boat. Just imagine, no worries about cleaning, all of the safety equipment waiting on-board, a charged battery and a full gas tank , as well. In the past, owning my own boat, hours of preparation and frustration was often the rule; or, my ‘relaxing day on the lake’ ended before it began, because of needed maintenance of one sort or another. Take it from me, The Freedom Boat Club is the way to go…
